Permissions

In SafeFood, a user's permissions will allow them or not allow them to do certain actions.

For example, a user without the "manage site" permission cannot change any site settings. A user can have any combination of permissions.

When adding a user to your site, you should set their permissions to reflect what you'd like them to be able to do. For example, a chef may only need the "dashboard" permission which allows them to access only the dashboard.

Permission Options

User Can See Dashboard

This permission allows a user to access the dashboard. They can go to the dashboard for your site to see data and alarms in real-time.

User Can See Incidents

This permission allows a user to access the Incidents Hub. With this permission, a user can view incidents in the Hub, create incidents, edit incidents, and archive incidents. If a user doesn't have this permission, they can still respond to incidents that they've been assigned to.

User Can See Daily Reports

Users with this permission can access the daily reports section of SafeFood. They are able to edit labels, as well as see and print the daily report sheets for any date.

User Can Manage Site

Users with this permission can access all the pages in the site settings menu (the gear icon). They can do things like add/remove users, manage general site settings, manage alert settings, etc. Usually, owners and managers are the only people with this permission.

User Can See Overview

Users with this permission can visit the Overview page.
